CAO Elite Allstars, a competitive cheerleading program based in Stockbridge, Georgia, a suburban community just outside of Atlanta, has announced that it will host
the program’s and the competitive cheer industry’s inaugural HBCU cheerleading combine event December 17, 2022.
The Combine event, slated to showcase the competitive skills of over 100+ athletes in front of some of the most distinct and competitive HBCU cheer programs in the country, is scheduled as a one-day face- to-face event to be held at CAO’s training facility in Stockbridge.
The goal of CAO’s HBCU Combine event is to provide traditionally underrepresented athletes the opportunity to pursue scholarship and recruitment opportunities in the sport of collegiate cheerleading within historically black colleges and universities. The event is specifically targeting current seniors, rising seniors, and junior high school athletes. However, all high school athletes are encouraged to participate in this event.
In addition to showcasing their competitive cheerleading skills in front of head cheerleading coaches and recruitment personnel from several top HBCUs, college bound athletes can expect to grab invaluable information regarding collegiate academics, admissions requirements, financial aid, and athletic program requirements.
Birthed and created by CAO Owner Toni Kendrick, CAO’s HBCU Combine is expected to be an annual event providing opportunities for talented athletes for years to come.
